In the standard configuration, the waterproof layer with a 60g thermal lining is inside the jacket to protect the wearer and allows it to be removed to increase air circulation in warm climates. However, when the weather turns cold, it can be worn over the outer jacket, leaving it completely dry and taking advantage of the benefits of a laminated jacket.
This solution also offers the advantage of increasing breathability and thermal insulation by creating a larger internal air space that warms with body heat.
