Tested and developed by the world's top motocross athletes, the new SE5 Carbon MX helmets feature a lightweight yet durable carbon fiber shell, a new ventilation system that ensures maximum rider comfort thanks to side slats on the chin bar, and the Collarbone Mitigation System, an innovative EPP (expanded polypropylene) collarbone protection system integrated into the lower portion of the helmet that protects the collarbone and upper shoulder and spreads the force of an impact.

MIPS® INTEGRA
MIPS (Multi-Directional Impact Protection System) is a patented technology that protects the skull from impacts in the event of a fall and thus reduces the risk of concussions. It's a sliding-plane system designed to rotate inside the helmet, designed to reduce and slow the amount of rotational energy transferred to the head.
INTEGRA is the latest evolution of MIPS: it's the lightest and thinnest rotational management system (RMS) in the MIPS world. Perfectly integrated into the inner shell, this system ensures maximum comfort and minimal friction when wearing the helmet. The distinctive yellow Low-Friction Layer (LFL) is co-molded inside the helmet over the dual-density EPS foam, which protects against low-speed impacts.
OPTIMIZED FIT AND BREATHABILITY
The SE5 motocross helmet features pre-shaped cheek pads made from Dri-Lex®, a fabric designed to ensure maximum breathability, and an internal lining made from antimicrobial X-Static® fibers.
The cheek pads are quick-release to facilitate the intervention of first responders in the event of an accident or fall.
The Double-D system also ensures an adjustable and secure helmet closure, thanks to two durable titanium rings.
SMART SHEAR SCREWS FOR MAXIMUM SAFETY IN THE EVENT OF A FALL
In the event of a fall, Troy Lee Designs has developed a system of pre-slotted screws that allow the visor to separate from the helmet body instead of breaking, thus preventing the rider from being injured during impact.
