The Racing Absolute is a high-level professional racing suit that incorporates all the same lightweight, advanced materials and technologies that the world’s fastest MotoGP and WorldSBK riders wear on track.

In addition to its full kangaroo leather construction, with double layers of kangaroo leather in all high abrasion areas such as the elbows, forearms, seat, sides and back, the Racing Absolute V2 also features Kevlar® reinforced stretch inserts on the crotch, inner arms and underarms. The bonded Kevlar® grid not only offers increased cut, tear and abrasion resistance, but highly reduced heat transfer to the rider’s body from any friction during a slide on the tarmac.
Another key material technological advancement found in the Racing Absolute v2 is the use of Alpinestars Composite Stretch Technology, or A-CS®Tech for short. A-CS®Tech is found throughout the suit, on the lateral torso, shoulder blades and upper knee. Replacing the leather accordion panels that preceded it in those areas, A-CS® Tech material not only offers greater breathability, comfort and freedom of movement, but also offers a lower weight and lower profile than accordion leather (around 9% lighter panels).
The leather accordion panels are still present in the lower back and key flex zones.
A-CS® technology also features a good level of elasticity of around 30% elongation, where tear resistance is increased by 288% compared to HRSF, or Hyper Resistant Stretch Fiber, and where cut resistance is increased by 600% compared to leather, all while having highly comparable performance
to kangaroo leather, and even higher impact abrasion test results.
The use of A-CS® Tech, signifies a significant advancement and improvement in performance protective materials.
The Racing Absolute incorporates Matryx® material on the lower leg for further weight reduction and breathability. Replacing the HRSF on the inner arms, crotch, back of the legs, collar and chest areas are Kevlar® reinforced stretch panels, which offer high elasticity for freedom of movement and increased protection.
The Racing Absolute V2 construction features schoeller-keprotec® seam reinforcements on the elbows and knees, external GP DFS sliders on the shoulders, knees and elbows, all-new GP-R PRO CE Level 2 forearm and knee armor and Nucleon Race shoulder armor, all of which add to and set a new Alpinestars Professional Racing standard.
To provide complete upper body and hip protection, the Racing Absolute v2 features direct internal integration of the optional Tech-Air® 10 Airbag system within the suit’s removable Polygeine treated inner liner for maximum rider protection.
