The co-injected shoulder with metal insert is one of the most revolutionary solutions found in Dainese garments. The usual removable composite protector is replaced by an injection of plastic material onto an external polyurethane-coated mesh, to which the metal plate is attached. This solution allows the protector, certified to the EN 1621.1 standard, to maintain the correct position on the shoulder in any situation, while taking up less space, improving rider comfort.

The composite protectors on the shoulders, elbows, and knees, certified to the EN 1621.1 standard, offer a high level of protection thanks to their unique construction. A rigid plastic outer shell distributes impact energy across the entire protector through a patented mesh structure, which distributes and absorbs impact over a large surface area while maintaining a lighter weight and greater thickness. The interior of the protector, made of ultra-high-density expanded polyethylene, features high deformability and high memory, adapting to the shape of the body for greater comfort. The perforated outer structure also improves breathability.
