Coming on the heels of the highly successful and iconic Tech 10 and Tech 7, the new Tech 5 is an advanced multi-material, multi-panel boot construction that further strengthens Alpinestars' class-leading lineup of motocross and off-road boots.

Construction
• Upper constructed from innovative, abrasion-resistant microfiber with synthetic polymer on the toe box. The microfiber main material offers high levels of water resistance, durability, and improved weight saving. The material ensures a consistent fit for long-term use and is easy to maintain and clean.

• Advanced molded polymer construction envelopes the upper boot for structural integrity and abrasion resistance, allowing for excellent levels of controlled flex.

• Medial-facing biomechanical pivot system connects the lower and upper parts of the boot and provides front and rear flexibility and structural support. Both the inward-facing upper and lower panels are constructed from a specially formulated polymer with grip-sculpting patterning for maximum contact with the bike and improved abrasion resistance.

Protection
• The Tech 5 boot is CE EN 13634:2010 certified.

• Anatomically profiled, high-modulus polymer shin plate for superior impact and abrasion resistance. The contoured shin plate allows for a greater range of fit and features an adjustable Velcro® panel for a personalized and secure closure.

• Innovative one-piece injected TPU Dual Shell foot compound with excellent impact and abrasion resistance and unmatched levels of safety. This shell is reinforced with a metal shin plate on the inside and a toe reinforcement co-injected with a harder compound.

• The TPU heel patch connects to the shell and TPU lateral/medial panels for protection and support.

• Soft poly-foam surrounded the ankles and collar offer shock absorbing performance, plus full textile inner lining for comfort.
