The latest Tech 10 models offer a greater range of motion and flexibility, while allowing for better control over flex and torsional forces which significantly improves the performance of the boot, offering riders greater safety and protection. The comfort of the Tech 10 boot is legendary and is a key feature that makes it the ideal option for riders, especially as it is designed to handle all types of riding conditions. The most significant updates to the current Tech 10 boot include a number of unique technologies and composite materials: the frontal flex control construction, asymmetric double pivot arms and the patented Dynamic Heel Compression Protection (DCHP) shock absorber integrated into a redesigned foot shell that features a slimmer and more compact sole, as well as the new internal ankle brace, anatomical shin and calf plates, exclusive sole integration and buckle closure system.
A ground-breaking innovation for the Tech 10 is the introduction of Alpinestars’ patented frontal Flex Frame.
Combining with the dual front and rear blade connectors, the Front Flex Frame gives the Tech 10 a complete and seamless flex control system from the foot shell to the Shin plate, offering high performance dual motion control, preventing over-compression and hyper-extension, with: Engineered front flex control provided by a dual density TPU connector system, which joins the lower buckle plate with the upper blade connector, buckle and Shin guard.
Designed to ‘float’ freely between the lower and upper boot construction, the Front Flex Frame acts as a shock absorber by distributing energy through the boot frame, while the forward and rear Flex control, progressively releasing force that dampens and absorbs impact energies.

A unique feature of the Tech 10 is the ankle control system developed in the external shell construction, allowing natural ankle movement, vertical compression control and improved impact protection.
Asymmetrical medial and lateral double pivot system to improve levels of flexibility and precision for both independent and synchronized movement.
Higher medial arm positioning reduces material volume in the lower part of the boot, creating more space for the patented internal ankle brace system to have free movement and improve control.
Reducing volume on the internal side also reduces abrasion, where the boot is in contact with the bike and improves grip and feel.
