Integrated into the Tech 10's exclusive, lightweight, co-injected one-piece construction, the patented Dynamic Heel Compression Protector (DHCP) system is an innovative safety feature that includes a fully integrated, pliable heel counter with expanded polyurethane foam to absorb high impact energy in the event of a crash. The DCHP features a directional impact protection system that significantly reduces the effect of excessive, potentially injurious energy transferred to the ankle and lower leg. The DHCP has been used by Alpinestars athletes in the demanding environments of Supercross and professional Motocross.
