The most significant updates to the current Tech 10 boots include a series of unique technologies and composite materials: the frontal flex control construction, asymmetric double pivot arms, and the patented Dynamic Heel Compression Protection (DCHP) shock absorber integrated into a redesigned footshell that features a slimmer and more compact sole, as well as a new internal ankle brace, anatomical shin and calf plates, exclusive sole integration, and buckle closure system.
A groundbreaking innovation for the Tech 10 is the introduction of Alpinestars' patented frontal Flex Frame.
Combined with the dual front and rear blade connectors, the Front Flex Frame gives the Tech 10 a complete and seamless flex control system, from the foot shell to the shin plate. This provides high-performance dual-motion control, preventing over-compression and hyper-extension.

Engineered front flex control is provided by a dual-density TPU connector system, connecting the lower buckle plate to the upper blade connector, buckle, and shin guard.

Designed to 'float' freely between the lower and upper boot constructions, the Front Flex Frame acts as a shock absorber, distributing energy through the boot frame, while controlling forward and backward flex, progressively releasing force that dampens and absorbs impact energies.
