Optimized for the performance and touring rider, the SP-X BOA boots are compact, mid-height boots offering premium levels of protection and comfort on and off the bike. The upper is constructed from a combination of advanced microfiber, ultra-soft Rideknit® material, and knitted mesh, along with seamless heat-sealed sections. The lower section features a TPU heel counter, a toe slider, and Alpinestars' TPF transverse protection frame on the sole, providing high levels of protection against impacts and any flex or twisting. Additionally, the sole also features a completely new design with an asymmetric rear heel counter to facilitate the rider's natural stride and promote stability off the bike.

For protection, the SP-X BOA boots feature integrated shin impact protection, dual-density ankle discs, as well as a TPU shift pad and toe slider reinforcement. And for comfort, mesh panels on the front and rear flex points offer great freedom of movement, while the PU midsole with integrated dual-compound heel cushioning and a removable OrthoLite® insole provides great walking comfort. A medial zipper combined with the BOA speed lace system for a compact and precise closure makes entry and exit easy.
