The new SMX waterproof jacket incorporates elements of MX design in the materials, sporty fit, and graphics, along with performance road features such as the DFS Lite external shoulder and waterproof membrane that provides additional protection for riding in all weather conditions. With a main chassis constructed from 600D poly-fabric and stretch softshell for the optimal blend of durability, lightweight, and comfort, this jacket features lightly incorporated class-leading Nucleon Flex Plus armor for proven impact protection. The SMX jacket has a fixed waterproof membrane for proven performance in wet weather and a removable thermal liner, allowing it to be easily adapted to different weather conditions for true versatility.

Featuring a fit designed to offer the highest level of active upper body protection, the jacket is Tech-Air® Ready and can accommodate the Tech-Air® 5 or Tech-Air® 3 airbag system. Strategically placed stretch panel inserts are designed to accommodate a Tech-Air® airbag system, allowing expansion when the airbag inflates and offering a high level of anatomical performance and a superior fit when riding without the system installed.
Level 1 Nucleon Flex Plus armor on the shoulders and elbows provides optimal impact and abrasion resistance,
while being extremely flexible for optimal comfort.
