The Smart Jacket LS is a ventilated motorcycle jacket that combines the versatility of a lightweight, ventilated garment with the intelligence and maximum protection of the Dainese D-air® airbag system. The Smart Jacket LS requires no connection to the motorcycle; it can be used as a normal ventilated jacket, without the need for other garments, and does not require a subscription. Made from certified, abrasion-resistant, and ventilated fabric, it is suitable for even the hottest days, ensuring excellent breathability. The Dainese D-air® system used in MotoGP™ and developed over 25 years of research, monitors the rider's surroundings 1,000 times a second thanks to its sensors. Without the need for cables or connections, it autonomously detects a dangerous situation and immediately activates the Shield, an engineered microfilament bag that offers maximum protection to the chest and back while also limiting neck and helmet movement. The system activates and protects in the event of a slide, fall, impact with an obstacle or another vehicle, or a rear-end collision, even when stationary. The Dainese D-air® system in the Smart Jacket LS offers, in the areas covered, the protection equivalent to 7 level 1 rigid back protectors, without the need for a rigid back protector. The Smart Jacket LS integrates removable Pro-Armor Lev. 2 Type B protectors on the elbows and shoulders. Pro-Armor technology offers the highest level of limb protection combined with full mobility and exceptional ventilation, thanks to its soft structure inspired by natural fractals and a 40% ventilated surface. Equipped with two side zippered pockets, it allows you to conveniently store essential personal items so they're always close at hand.
