This new Dainese patent stems from research into ergonomics, designed to further increase riding comfort while maintaining a high level of safety. The combination of an elastic fabric insert underneath the leather panel allows for localized micro-elasticity where the body needs greater mobility, while also increasing the area's abrasion resistance. This is achieved by reducing the number of panels and the stitching that joins them, as well as maintaining a thicker panel compared to traditional elastic inserts.
