Certified to EN 17092 Class AA, the Racing 5 jacket features CE Level 2 composite protectors on the elbows and shoulders, as well as replaceable aluminum inserts on the shoulders that ensure a more natural sliding movement in the event of a fall, and a pocket designed to accommodate type G back and chest protectors. As a result of studies on the correct fit, the jacket can be comfortably worn over the Dainese Smart Air airbag device without the need to purchase a larger size. The proper fit of the sleeves prevents the protectors from moving to the wrong area during a fall, therefore always ensuring maximum protection for riders. In addition, the loops that attach the Smart Air to the jacket allow the rider to put it on and take it off in a single movement, so that the airbag always maintains the correct position under the jacket. The all-weather functionality of this garment is enhanced by a practical waterproof internal pocket where riders can store their electronic devices in case of bad weather, as well as air vents on the chest and air extraction zips on the sides in case of hot sessions.
