The latest evolution of the best-selling Dainese Racing jacket, designed for all motorcyclists who travel in good weather and in summer, the Racing 5 Leather Jacket is a regular and sporty fit motorcycle jacket made of fine 1.2 mm Tutu cowhide.
The focus on ergonomics has led to studies on riding positions, in order to perfect details designed to reduce pressure on the neck, such as the Veloce Racing Neck, and to ensure maximum comfort and mobility by integrating the wide bi-elastic S1 fabric and adjustment systems on the sides. Riding comfort merges with superior levels of protection. Certified to EN 17092 Class AA, the Racing 5 jacket features CE Level 2 composite protectors on the elbows and shoulders, as well as replaceable aluminum inserts on the shoulders that ensure a more natural sliding movement in the event of a fall, and a pocket designed to accommodate type G back and chest protectors. As a result of studies on the correct fit, the jacket can be comfortably worn over the Dainese Smart Air airbag device without the need to purchase a larger size. The proper fit of the sleeves prevents the protectors from moving to the wrong area during a fall, therefore always ensuring maximum protection for riders. In addition, the loops that attach the Smart Air to the jacket allow the rider to put it on and take it off in a single movement, so that the airbag always maintains the correct position under the jacket. The all-weather functionality of this garment is enhanced by a handy internal waterproof pocket where riders can store their electronic devices in case of bad weather, as well as chest vents and side extraction zips for hot sessions.
