The Hyde XT Drystar XF Jacket is positioned closer to the heavy off-road and/or dual sport side of the adventure touring segment. Featuring an extremely lightweight and stretchy single layer four-way stretch waterproof outer shell main construction for maximum riding comfort. The jacket is reinforced with ripstop nylon on the outer arms and shoulders for a high level of durability.

The Hyde XT has a laminated Drystar XF (XF for extra flow) membrane, which is waterproof and highly breathable for excellent wet weather performance. The Drystar XF waterproof membrane is a major advantage for riders who ride in wet weather, as it makes the jacket super compact and keeps it very light by not allowing water to penetrate or soak through the shell or pass through it. As a result, the Drystar XF membrane prevents the jacket from becoming waterlogged and heavy, while at the same time preventing the rider from suffering from windchill effects while simultaneously allowing the fabric to breathe. The jacket has long direct ventilation ports on each side of the front and back, zippered vents on the forearms and the Super-airflow panel on the front zipper opening for large amounts of breathability during warmer weather.

Internally, the Hyde XT has a zip-out armored mesh inner jacket with CE Level 1 Nucleon Flex Plus protection. Since the Hyde XT has a greater focus and potential for off-road riding, the inner mesh jacket is designed to keep the armor close to the rider's body for maximum comfort and protection, eliminating any movement restrictions related to the outer shell and armor interaction when riding a motorcycle off-road. The inner armored mesh jacket is also fully upgradeable to the Level 2 Nucleon Flex Pro armor, as well as the Tech-Air OFF-ROAD v2 system for maximum rider protection. Having the ability to remove the inner armored mesh jacket also allows the Hyde XT to be worn as a casual jacket when off the bike.
