The long zippered vent ports on the chest and arms provide a high level of cooling airflow when open, acting as vents to capture air from the incoming airflow.
The AMT-8 Jacket's Hyperflow ventilation system provides increased air exchange surface area, with the side vents on the chest held open via the internal shock cord retention system.
The rear exhaust has a shingle design with the rear vent remaining open at all times to exhaust incoming air from the front vent ports, allowing for a constant cross-flow of air, with airflow entering at the front and exiting at the rear exhaust.
The stretch waterproof Drystar®XF liner is highly versatile and can be used as a windproof inner layer when worn under the jacket or as a WP layer to protect from rain when worn over the jacket. When not in use, the liner can be easily stowed away in its integrated bag and stowed conveniently in the AMT-8's rear pocket.
