The S-M10 design offers a smooth, attractive and aerodynamic profile, streamlined and free of any external channels and features that could act as a load point in the event of an impact or compromise the overall integrity of the helmet construction.

The curvature of the surface helps reduce friction on impact, allowing for deflection and more efficient energy transfer to protect the rider's head from direct force to the skull and referred to the neck and spine.

The S-M10 shell sizing solution ensures that each helmet shell size has its own appropriate shell size to offer the most anatomical solution for the wide variety of fit needs around the world, providing 4 different helmet shell sizes S, M, L and XL and 6 consumer sizes from XS to XXL to ensure riders get the correct fit that not only improves comfort and reduces overall weight, but more importantly improves the effectiveness of the helmet in the event of an impact.

The helmet shell construction uses highly advanced molding technology with a multi-composite combination: 1) 3K Carbon, a high density carbon outer layer that improves the strength and energy dissipation efficiency of the shell, 2) Unidirectional carbon composite layer that provides increased radial strength around the shell, preventing compression but allowing controlled deflection to reduce transmitted impact energy, and 3) Aramid fiber layer that provides critical penetration protection. This layer combination achieves even greater performance with an epoxy resin bond that offers the best possible strength and energy management; the limited deflection of the outer shell means that energy is spread wider and better absorbed by the 4-density EPS liner.

The result of the unique shell layering process used in the S-M10 construction is extremely effective impact protection. The S-M10 returns linear and oblique impact performance that exceeds the current helmet regulation standards. For direct linear impacts, meaning a 90-degree impact between the helmet and an object, the SM10 exceeds the new ECE 22.06 standard for 2024 by an average magnitude of 46% for normal speed impacts. New to the ECE 22.06 standard, the new requirements now include low and high speed linear impacts where the SM10 exceeds the new ECE 22.06 Peak Linear Acceleration standards by 23% and 28% respectively

And for rotational acceleration and oblique impact performance, where the impact energy comes from an angle other than a 90-degree or right-angle linear impact, the SM10 exceeds the new ECE 22.0 Peak Rotational Acceleration standard by 76%.

New redesigned chin bar profile, where the base area has been specifically sculpted to give a raised, raised section to clear the collarbone, with a new softer EPS liner that extends beyond the helmet shell itself and is covered with a more flexible rubber compound that provides a reduced chance of any type of collarbone injury.

Removable side pads made from a semi-soft polymer for added protection provide a larger contact area to help spread impact energy.
