SPEEDSTAR 2 is Suomy's new full-face helmet, featuring elegant, dynamic, and high-performance lines. It features the unmistakable Suomy signature, designed and developed in Italy with the most advanced digital technologies, and tested in the wind tunnel and on the road to deliver the best dynamic performance.

The shell, available in two sizes, is made with a new layer of carbon, aramid, and glass fibers specifically designed for E2206 certification.
The Hydrocool interior is produced with the best technologies to ensure reliability, comfort, and safety. Racing performance meets sporty touring performance to create an aerodynamic, versatile, and comfortable helmet with technical solutions suited to any type of road adventure.
SHELL
The shell is made of TRICOPOSITE fibers, a new layering that allows for a lighter yet more protective shell. The new composite, carefully designed to achieve ECE 2206 certification, is a blend of carbon with varying weights/tensile strengths combined with aramid and fiberglass fibers.
PROTECTIVE POLYSTYRENE
The polystyrene inner shell is available in three sizes (S, M, L) for improved ergonomics and features variable densities. This feature allows for gradual and progressive absorption of impact energy.
Although most of the impact energy is absorbed by the outer shell, thanks to its deformation, the polystyrene plays a key role in absorbing residual energy.
A different density of polystyrene optimizes the mechanical performance of the polystyrene shell system, ensuring maximum absorption in all areas of the helmet, as required by the stringent ECE 2206 standard.
VISOR
The visor is made of scratch-resistant injection-molded polycarbonate with variable thickness, and is easy to remove thanks to a tool-free system. The compact visor mechanism is made of a special lightweight metal alloy, providing greater strength to the assembly. The visor is also equipped with a "Racing Lock System" (Pat Pend) locking mechanism, also made of lightweight metal alloy. This mechanism reduces the possibility of the visor detaching in the event of an impact and allows for more intuitive opening and closing.
SUN VISOR
The Speedstar 2 is equipped with a large internal sun visor, featuring cable technology that ensures smooth movement via a button on the edge of the shell, easily operated with the left hand.
