The S1-XR GP is Suomy's new racing helmet, a benchmark for high performance on the track.

Designed, engineered, and refined in Italy with the most advanced digital tools, the Suomy helmet was developed by Pecco Bagnaia, MotoGP world champion for Ducati Corse, to maximize performance and take it to the next level.
The outer shell is made of tri-composite fibers, resulting in an extremely lightweight yet even more impact-resistant shell.
The S1-XR GP is the result of in-depth and innovative research that combines extraordinary aerodynamics, optimized for different riding positions, with an extraordinary field of vision designed to maximize performance and increase active safety.
SHELL
The shell is made of tri-composite fibers (carbon, fiberglass, aramid fibers), a new layering that allows for a lighter yet more protective shell. To satisfy the most demanding customers, the S1-XR GP is available in three different shell sizes: S, M, and L.
PROTECTIVE POLYSTYRENE
The polystyrene inner shell is available in four sizes (S, M, L, and XL) with variable densities for improved ergonomics.
This feature allows for gradual and progressive absorption of impact energy. Although most of the impact energy is absorbed by the outer shell, due to its deformation, the polystyrene plays a key role in absorbing residual energy.
The different densities of the polystyrene optimize the mechanical performance of the shell-polystyrene system, ensuring maximum absorption in all areas of the helmet, as required by the strict FIM regulations.
VISOR
The visor is made of scratch-resistant, injection-molded polycarbonate with variable thicknesses and is easy to remove thanks to a tool-free system. The compact visor mechanism is made of a special lightweight metal alloy that provides greater assembly strength. The visor is also equipped with the "Racing Lock System" locking mechanism, also made of lightweight metal alloy (patent pending). This mechanism reduces the possibility of the visor detaching in the event of an impact and allows for more intuitive opening and closing. The S1-XR GP is tear-off ready.

PINLOCK
The S1-XR GP is equipped with the retractable PINLOCK® MAX VISION 120 anti-fog system, the highest performing on the market.

VENTILATION
The hottest Grand Prix races demand the most from the rider, and being able to count on an efficient ventilation system makes the difference in maintaining a high level of concentration. The S1-XR GP features seven air intake ducts that work in synergy with a perfectly integrated exhaust system, ensuring excellent airflow inside the helmet. Hot air extraction is carefully designed; two integrated air extractors, along with the rear spoiler, create a Venturi effect by extracting hot internal air.
INTERIOR
Cheek pads and lining are removable, washable, and replaceable. They are made of premium Hydrocool fabric, which offers the following characteristics:
- rapid heat dissipation
- maintaining a pleasant feeling of coolness and dryness
- lightness, softness, and breathability
The cheek pads are customizable and easily removable in an emergency thanks to the quick-release system. The S1-XR GP is ready for a camel-bag system, easy and intuitive to install.
RETENTION SYSTEM
The chin strap features a double DD metal D-ring system.
