The motorcycle helmet complies with ECE R 22.05 and DOT approvals and can therefore be used in both Europe and the United States. The O1 helmet is available in various sizes, from XS to XXL, which correspond approximately to a head circumference of 53 to 63 cm. The unique manufacturing process for SCHUBERTH helmet shells ensures low weight with optimal stability. Direct Fiber Processing (DFP) is a SCHUBERTH innovation. In this process, continuous glass fibers are cut into pieces by a robot and then blown into shape. To create a highly durable helmet, the preform is baked under high pressure in a heated mold with the addition of a precise amount of resin. Because the inner liner is made up of several parts, the helmet offers high resistance while simultaneously ensuring increased safety. The smallest size (XS) of the SCHUBERT O1 model weighs just 1,100 g. It is available in three different sizes with an innovative carbon-fiber-glass matrix and is suitable for a wide range of head shapes.
