The DRIFT EVO 2 is Caberg's new top-of-the-line full-face helmet, designed for the most demanding touring riders, with a sporty and modern look!
Following the success of the previous Drift Evo model, which will be produced until 2023, Caberg has designed and created a completely new helmet with a fiberglass shell and a carbon fiber shell to further reduce weight.
The shell is available in two sizes: a small shell for sizes XS to M and a large shell for sizes L to XXL, to offer a perfect balance between comfort and helmet volume. The rear spoiler provides a sporty design, improving the helmet's aerodynamics and keeping it stable even at high speeds.
The DRIFT EVO 2 features a scratch-resistant external visor, and all versions come with a Pinlock Max Vision 70 anti-fog lens.
The newly developed visor mechanism is simple and intuitive to use for visor replacement and cleaning. Furthermore, the tilting mechanism ensures a secure fit between the visor and the shell edges.
To prevent accidental visor opening at medium/high speeds, the DRIFT EVO 2 features a central lock with a dedicated visor opening button.
This solution also prevents the visor from being completely blocked at low speeds, leaving a small airflow. The DRIFT EVO 2 features an integrated DVT (Double Visor Tech) sun visor, easily operated even with gloves using the lever on the left side of the helmet. The DRIFT EVO 2 features ventilation via two chin vents, two front vents, and four air extractors at the top and back. A ducting system in the inner shell ensures a significant intake of fresh air while also extracting hot, stale air.
The interior is made of breathable, hypoallergenic fabrics, completely removable and washable. The cheek pads feature a quick-release fastener, even while the helmet is being worn, using the red strap on the cheek pads for safe and quick removal without compromising the rider's comfort. They are also contoured at the top to facilitate the insertion of glasses or sunglasses. The chin strap has a double D-ring buckle.
For the new ECE 22.06-certified DRIFT EVO 2, Caberg has developed an electronic device inside the helmet, the CABERG SOS MEDICAL ID, which allows the helmet owner to enter their personal and medical data, as well as emergency contacts, via their cell phone and the NFC technology that all phones are equipped with. In the event of an accident or illness, another person or a rescuer can help the motorcyclist in difficulty by simply holding their phone close to the CABERG SOS MEDICAL ID logo on the helmet, view the medical information, and send a text message with the location of the motorcyclist in difficulty to their emergency contacts.
The DRIFT EVO 2 is designed to accommodate the Caberg Pro Speak Evo communicator, which allows you to communicate with your cell phone and your passenger, offering a bike-to-bike solution up to 200 meters. You can also connect it to a GPS and listen to music through your phone or an MP3 player. To ensure maximum safety, DRIFT EVO II has passed all the tests required by the ECE 22.06 regulation even with the communicator mounted inside the helmet.
