The Tech-Air® system integrates the electronic control unit, components, and airbag, which, once inflated, covers the back, kidney area, chest, and shoulders.
The Tech-Air® system, sold separately and completely self-contained, offers the option of using the airbag in combination with an airbag-compatible Alpinestars textile outer jacket for excellent protection in all weather conditions and high temperatures.
The innovative and versatile Tech-Air® Street-E airbag system can be used with any type of motorcycle and/or scooter without the need to set, pair, or reconfigure the bike-to-rider or bike-to-passenger settings. The system is therefore immediately ready for use at any time on any motorcycle, on any surface, and can be used for both road riding and off-road adventure touring.

The Tech-Air® airbag control unit (ACU) is integrated into a durable, lightweight polymer back protector, featuring an ergonomic plate construction for increased structural strength and a fit that follows the natural contours of the back.
The Tech-Air® ACU is sealed for all-weather performance.
The Tech-Air® ACU includes two connection cables that allow the rider to quickly and easily connect to the outer jacket.
The ACU is ECE R10 04 certified, ensuring the integrity and electromagnetic stability of the unit.
Tech-Air® uses a built-in, certified lithium-ion battery with a 25-hour battery life and a charging time of approximately six hours.
The micro USB charger allows for convenient charging, with one hour of charging providing four hours of battery life.
Color-coded YKK front zippers allow the system to be easily and securely attached to the outer jacket.
The inflatable argon cartridges comply with the ISO 14451 standard, which means they only activate when commanded by the electronic unit.
The cartridges are approved for safe handling, assembly, and transport.
The system firmware is upgradeable, and external maintenance logs are managed via a data portal.
