Derived from Alpinestars airbag technology used by MotoGP riders, Tech-Air® 10 is a slim, self-contained, wearable airbag system that provides unrivaled full-body protection to racers, track riders, and road riders by covering the rider's shoulders, chest, back, and hips.

Tech-Air® 10 can be worn under any Alpinestars Tech-Air® Ready or Tech-Air® Compatible leather suit, or any third-party leather suit with 4 cm of space around the rider's chest and 2 cm of space around the rider's hips. The additional chest and hip space is necessary to accommodate airbag inflation in the event of an accident.

• The state-of-the-art Tech-Air® 10 wearable airbag system features an active electronic system with 12 sensors (3 triaxial accelerometers plus 1 triaxial gyroscope) and a crash detection algorithm that uses artificial intelligence to precisely monitor when to deploy the airbag in the event of a crash.
• Impact absorption during airbag deployment results in a reduction in impact force of up to 95% compared to passive protection. Once deployed, the Tech-Air® 10 airbag system offers the same protection as 18 back protectors.
• The Tech-Air® 10 is CE Level 2 certified for both the chest and back.
• Upon detection of a crash situation, a protective airbag is activated, providing unrivaled protection to the rider with a maximum inflation time of 40 ms.
• The Tech-Air® 10 airbag system offers an even greater level of full-face coverage thanks to the additional protection of the riders' hips and requires 2 argon gas inflators to fill the entire volume of the larger airbag when deployed in a crash situation. As such, the Tech-Air® 10 does not have the dual-charge concept of the Tech-Air® Race System.
